Weekend

For the record, I hung out with the following this weekend:

Iris
Cas
Jocelyn
My Dad
Whitney
Jon
Randeep
My 222 Lab
Jedi Knight: Academy

Michelle is AWOL, again, so i'm holding her laptop hostage until such time as she wises up and stops asking me to hang out with her, and then goes missing.

My XBOX is now plugged into my monitor, and much Ninja Gaiden and KOTR2 can now occur in High Definition.

Many People are beginning to irritate me, and Ayn Rand is starting to make sense. If you have concerns, voice them now.

you bet i'm number one.

anyway my concern is that ayn rand is a giant cuntface and you like her because she's capitalist and self-interested.

remember, empathy. as often as you can. make sure you find someone to renew your optimism as often as you need it.

indications you are slipping into a hatred of humanity: rand sits at the top of my list.

actually, a book i've been reading makes an excellent point about hating the world. it's right and good to hate things about people, attitudes, actions. it's wrong to hate the people themselves. a more appropriate response would be sadness, pity.

i often find myself being especially nice to people who infuriate me, because i know that it just bothers me that they garner so much of my pity.

no lie that people are irritating, i nearly killed a coworker today, rambling on and on and on about how the potential strike is so unfair, and then explaining how government spending is all "stupid".

i am currently trying to follow my own advice, and salinger's. i'm feeling bad for her uselessness. i'm feeling worse that i
(incorrectly) feel superior.
